Fun for the Family contains a series of activities and requirements designed to help strengthen families and to develop good characters skills among family members. This optional scouting award encourages families to interact and connect through five activity areas, which incorporates Cub Scouting’s 12 Core Values.

As a family, purchase and post a flag on holidays. Discuss how the flag symbolizes freedom and practice the Pledge of Allegiance.
To complete this activity the Disney way, attend the 5 o’clock flag retreat ceremony at the Magic Kingdom (or watch the video) – participate in the Pledge of Allegiance and discuss with your family your roles as citizens in the community.
